Solid blocks of marble are hollowed out and hand carved into low elegant tables through which light and air pass with ease. The intricate jali patterns are first traced onto the surface of the stone. Craftsmen then hand chisel and form hundreds of intricate, interlocking patterns in each piece before the tables are polished by hand.
